How Can swallowing Difficulty Along With Vomiting Be Treated?

I have difficulty swallowing food & lately I have vomiting as soon as I eat. Sometimes food gets stuck in my throat & is very painful & difficult to swallow it. Also I often have burning in throat & chest when eating or drinking, especially acidic drinks like orange juice.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi welcome to the health care magic

According to history provided it seems to be pharyngitis associated with acid reflux...

Your posterior pharynx examination has to be done by nearby doctor for seeing congestion in posterior pharynx or tonsillar enlargement

Investigation done with CBC as preliminary work up

You can be prescribed antibiotic course for five days

Salt water gargles in hot water done three times a day

Semidolid meal taken more as compared to solid meal

Pantoprazole tablet prescribed for acid reflux for two week

Head elevated while sleeping

If no improvement and difficulty in swallowing continues then barium x ray and endoscopy like investigation needed to be done by gastroenterologist

Take care

Hope your concern solved
